I believe the relationship between counselor and client to be an integral part of the therapeutic process. I also help individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, and adjustment issues. We can start right away with what you are bringing into therapy. I welcome all consensual expressions of love and sexuality and all gender identities. My experience in queer politics and as a member of our community means that you don't have to worry about ignorance or judgment when you walk into therapy. I am not anti-coupling, anti-relationship, or anti-long-term anything. I have worked with children, adults, couples, and families since I include this category as a signal that I am hopefully a 'safe' person for you to talk to, who has had many LGBTQ people in my life who have shaped who I am.

I have extensive experience providing both individual and group therapy for LGBTQ concerns, and am committed to social justice for this community. Currently, much of my client base is queer, trans, and gender non-conforming. I love working with members of the queer community, including individuals as well as couples who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, queer, trans, non-binary, poly, and kink.
